This is a very old painting I did in the 70′s of Dave Aldana racing the “Half Mile Event”. It was an early experiment in fauvism. I added this today after spending the day at Brad Lackey’s Vintage Motocross Race in California… it was like stepping back 30 years… too much fun!

wat is the name of the artwork
Diana… it is “Number 13 in Fauve” a piece I did many years ago when I was studying Matisse and the fauvist movement. I was obviously, as I still am today, very into the color and pageantry of motorcycle racing…
I forgot to add… I still have this one hanging at the house…
